SENIORS USE SEARCH ENGINE FOR TRAVEL PLANNINGApr 24th, 2012 | By James E Becker | Category: Senior Travel
Internet Aids Senior Travelers
BING is another good search engine like GOOGLE or YAHOO. I use it often. Recently BING has come up with a website that focuses on travel. Seniors will enjoy the one-stop site that has hotel deals, vacation packages under $500 (those are darn hard to find), slide shows, travel articles, last minute flight deals, cars, cruises and more. You can check out flights from your city to anywhere you want to land.
BING works with Orbitz for Top Hotel Deals over the country. The Vacations under $500 are hard to imagine, but they are available online, again via Orbitz. And Hawaii…just imagine FREE NIGHTS there. Most often it is a 4th night free plus daily breakfast buffet for two and in Hawaii, that’s great. Want some more vacation packages? Again Orbitz to the rescue for additional packages. Orbitz finds last minute deals and discounts on hotels, flights, vacations, cars and cruises.
So How Does BING Travel Work for Seniors?
Bing travel provides information for seniors planning tours and travel worldwide; the search engine helps you Know When To Buy™, When To Fly™, and Where To Stay™ – all based on a huge volume of airfare and hotel rate data that is processed every day. Their airfare predictions and hotel Rate Indicators are available from most major U.S. and Canadian cities to destinations worldwide. Use their smart travel search to easily compare, sort, and narrow flight and hotel results from hundreds of websites. Hotel rates change often. Bing helps you find great rates by comparing each hotel’s rate for the dates you want to stay to its past rates. Just look for the rates marked “deal.” Their travel blog is interesting as well.
By now you know that Jim likes videos. BING has 2-minute Trip Tips on choosing, booking, packing, health, planning and more. Looks to me like BING has thought of just about everything. Enjoy your browsing. jeb
