According to Airports Council International (the Voice of the World’s Airports) and the leading airport trade group, the following are the world’s busiest airports in terms of passenger traffic:

1. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

2. O’Hare International Airport, Chicago

3. London Heathrow Airport

4. Haneda Airport, Tokyo

5. Los Angeles International Airport

6. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport

7. Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport

8. Frankfurt Airport, Frankfurt, Germany

9. Beijing Capital International Airport

10. Denver International Airport

WikiPedia came up with a little different configuration. Here Atlanta leads the world last year with 6,448,193 passengers followed by Beijing (5,440,732) and London (4,846,720).  Close behind are Chicago O’Hare, LAX, Dallas-Fort Worth, Suvarnabhumi (Thailand) and Paris Charles DeGaulle (CDG).

Destination 360 ranks the best resorts in the Caribbean. Here is what Rankopedia says about the best spots in the Caribbean. The Travel Channel also has their list of the best Ten Resorts.

Fodor’s Travel Blog addresses How to Choose the Caribbean Island That’s Right for You .  Each Caribbean island is unique, and everything depends on what you’re looking for.  They rank such favorites as beaches, dining, diving, snorkeling, golf, night life, all-inclusives, etc.  Well done too.

The Traveler Zone provides information and photos of each of their top ten islands in the Caribbean. So grab your sun tan lotion, your bathing suit, your passport and some $$$ and enjoy the sun on one of these beautiful spots.  jeb
