Senior Tourist Destinations WorldWide

It’s a little unusual to find a listing of major tourist destinations worldwide in one place.  But that’s just what I’m attempting here.  These are the top attractions on each continent, as well as by cultural activity.  Here you will find lots of very interesting attractions that will help in your travel planning and keep you busy for some time, especially the 957 sites in Africa, the 1354 in Asia, 4670 in Europe and 1870 in North and South America. I also love videos and so seniors, you can have a visual tour prior to your visit right here along with YouTube if you wish.

All the following sites can be found on this link:

Now for some free-association tidbits:

  • There are 44 Unesco World Heritage Sites in Italy http://www.italyheaven.co.uk/unesco.html, more than in any other country. And you know of my major interests in these sites worldwide.  Check out Italy and enjoy.
  • And for your information, you can see over 2,000 castles and châteaux in Italy, and 12 in the Czech Republic including the Villa Tugendhat in Brno, the village of Holasovice and the Baroque column Olomouc. (I’m half-Czech and always enjoy sharing information about my native country)  jeb
