European Travel Planning for Seniors

Jun 9th, 2010 | By James E Becker | Category: Senior Travel

Europe-Cities features many of the most famous cities in the world with good information for seniors. Here are a few of some of the Travel destinations featured by Europe-Cities.com:

I really like the Europe-Cities travel site. It goes on and on with good travel information including suggested hotels in each region of the country as well as the most popular destinations in the country, a guide, facts, the culture, the history, eating out, information on the language, sports, entertainment and finally a gallery of super photo shots.  Their guide to the most popular towns in Europe includes Brussels, Paris, Vienna and London.  Tours of these great cities are suggested on each page.

Looking for the Best Bars in London?  Here they are (p.s. you can find them in each major city on the Europe-Cities site): Bars in London

Where will you experience the atmosphere of London better than in a pub? Where will you hear the merry “Cheers mate!” and see Londoners having fun? The British capital is literally filled with cosy pubs as well as sophisticated bars, so everyone will find a venue which will suit their taste. One of the most typical and most often visited kinds of bars are the sports bars where fans cheer their teams over continuously coming pints of beer. Join in on the pub crawling and make your night out in London an unforgettable one! Addresses, websites and features of each are included.  Here is just one that I have selected to be found at 22 Great Marlborough Street Westminster and even a map to get you there. It has a stylish café bar with decks in the corner and features Electric Mouse Comedy Every Tuesday.  That is pretty complete I’d say.

If you have never traveled to Europe before, About.com has some good advice for seniors.  Their travel planning timeline is divided into five sections, each a roadmap for the things that should be done during that time. Use their travel planning roadmap, and you’ll be assured of taking care of the very basic tasks that go with planning an independent vacation.  James Martin provides helpful details for:  airfares european travel planning european destinations european hotels and transportation in europe. Included is advice for 6 Months Before You Travel to Europe, 3 Months Before You Travel to Europe, 2 Months Before You Travel to Europe, 1 Month Before You Travel to Europe and Right Before You Travel to Europe – Final Checklist!.

Virtual Tourist is very helpful and lastly WikiTravel is another totally loaded site for senior travelers. Do enjoy walking the Champs-Elysées and the Boul’Mich.   jeb
