Seniors: Inexpensive Entertainment

What does it take to entertain you? Do you require a night out, a fancy dining experience, a Broadway play, a full dress ball? If so, you may want to forego this column, assuming you have the means for all of the above?

If not, and you just desire some options for ordinary distraction, consider these ideas.

Have a trio of couples join for an evening of games and refreshments. Invite the couples to bring their favorite game and some finger food. Consider setting up a rotation for a repeat of this low cost, lots of fun possiblity.

Create a co-op of persons who enjoy the same things. If it is strolling through a shopping mall, go together. Commit to a non-spending trip. Get your exercise with a power walk, while hastily glancing at the windows. Businesses may not be
