An article in the Washington Post pays tribute to Bob Dylan in a new cover of “Forever Young”. Pete Seeger’s fans want to make him the oldest musician in history to reach Billboard’s top music charts. Here’s part of the article:

“In an adorable music video, Seeger sings “Forever Young” with the Rivertown Kids, a children’s choir with a commitment to social justice that Seeger mentors. The single is on the record ‘Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International.’

Forever Pete is leading the campaign to make Seeger the oldest charted musician. “Pete turns 93 on May 3rd, 2012 – so let’s do this NOW and give him a great birthday gift!” (Washington Post, March 19, 2012)
