One of the happy experiences of having been a pastor is the huge variety of reading and preparation required. Coming across inspired morality tales that help describe the human condition and methods for dealing with it offered a constant source of inspiration and stimulation.

If there is one more thing I can do today, I would like it to be something gentle, kind and generous. Who knows what tomorrow may bring? Who knows if tonight’s rest will be greeted with a sunny, happy morning? So, if there is one more thing I can do today, I would like it to be something that those closest to me can know considers them, embraces them, holds them with a love that is full and sincere and as lasting as the moment will allow it.
