Senior Finances
Financial comfort and stability are critical to the happiness and well-being of retirees. Knowing that you have enough money to carry you through your senior years, with hopefully some left over for the children, permits senior citizens to sleep well at night.
If the individual or couple planned well during the career-phase of life, and if the economy did not deal a double-whammy over the past couple of years, the retirement nest-egg is intact and functioning well.
However, there are still considerations that need to be looked at following retirement: Do you have the best health insurance plan available? Do you need a revocable trust created? Are your investments being managed well? Is your pension providing all that you can expect? And there are a gazillion other questions that may be helpful to explore as you continue to evaluate your financial condition.
