Guaranteed Acceptance Ages 50-80

AARP and New York Life Insurance Company have once again teamed up to offer seniors a guaranteed acceptance life insurance policy.  Any senior over 50 and under 80 is eligible (spouses are eligible at age 45); you must be a member of AARP.  The offer is not available in New Jersey or Washington (state).  It’s a $15,000 permanent life insurance policy.

The mailing recently sent out says this:

• no medical exam
• no health questions
• lifetime protection
• affordable rates won’t go up due to changes in age or health
• Because acceptance is guaranteed, a limited benefit is paid for death from other than accidental causes during the first two years.
• AARP endorsed
• Enroll entirely by mail
