As health issues arise, sometimes it’s necessary to seek the aid of a nurse for yourself or for a loved one. In fact, older adults are the core business of health care in this country today. When dealing with nurses, it’s hard to predict the experience level of the nurse that is responsible for the care of a loved one or yourself. It can be helpful to see the “signs” of a student nurse, as often they may be the ones in charge of the care of a loved one or yourself. Of course, just because they lack the years of experience doesn’t mean they lack the skills or compassion to be an effective nurse.
